My role: I headed the production of this video, conducting a pre-interview with the subject, then storyboarding an outline and leading the on-camera interview. I also coordinated b-roll and chose interview soundbites to include.
Road to Graduation
After completing her doctoral degree in translational medicine at Johns Hopkins University, Karen Cravero, PhD, returned to her home state to pursue a medical degree at the University of Florida College of Medicine. This video showcases the spring 2023 medical graduate and single mother as she prepares for her upcoming career as a physician-scientist.
Honoring a mentor
World-renowned structural biologist Dr. Mavis Agbandje-McKenna dedicated her career to advancing discovery at the UF College of Medicine for more than 30 years before her passing. This video project emphasizes on the impact of her mentorship. The video debuted at an event with more than 500 attendees and was used to introduce an award in the subject’s honor.
My role: I co-produced this video, assisting in storyboarding, prepping for and conducting interviews with subjects, selecting soundbites and choosing music and visuals to fit the tone.
Showcasing program excellence
The UF College of Medicine’s Graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences prepares trainees for careers of scientific discovery. These two videos were created to share with prospective students who can learn more about the opportunities for community building and professional development within the program.
My role: I led the production of both videos, conducting interviews with subjects and assisting in the selection of soundbites and storyboarding.
